Lead Hadoop Engineer - NIKE, Inc., located in Beaverton, OR.Create, develop, and deploy seamless, tailored, and inherently social experiences to digital consumers in Beaverton, OR. Will deliver solutions on top of the Hadoop and AWS platform. Will provide solutions to power critical business decisions and personalized experiences for consumers. Will build libraries, user defined functions, and frameworks on the Hadoop ecosystem. Will research, evaluate, and utilize new technologies, tools, and frameworks around Hadoop and the AWS ecosystem. Will deliver solutions related to Hadoop Big Data Platform implementation. Will use knowledge of Hadoop architecture and AWS components with Cloudera Hadoop distribution. Will design, develop, and deliver business intelligence and analytics solutions in collaboration with cross functional teams. Will supervise one to five subordinates.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
Experience: 5 years of overall progressive information technology experience.
Skills/Requirements: 1 year experience: (1) Java, (2) Hive, (3) Spark, (4) Sqoop, (5) Design Pattern, (6) Python, (7)Unix scripting, (8) application performance tuning, (9) web based application and client server technologies, and (10) process automation.
