Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant (MA) functions under the direct supervision and authority of the physician/NP/PA/CMN and reports to the practice manager. The MA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care, communicate effectively with others, maintain an inventory of examination/procedure room supplies, work with the healthcare team to assure smooth and efficient patient flow, and organize the office environment to assure patient safety.

High school graduate, medical assistant training program, EMS training, or nursing assistant training strongly preferred.  Minimum two years within the last 5 years of experience in doctor's office setting preferred. LPN's licensed in the State of Vermont will be considered for this position.  CPR certification required.
