Part Time Physical Therapist- Aquatics

Position Summary:

Provides physical therapy to patients in varying states of health and illness.  Physical therapists diagnose and manage movement dysfunction, enhance physical and functional abilities, and promote optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health.  Physical therapists prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries.  Physical therapists function as an essential member of therapy and multidisciplinary teams providing direct care to patients.  They teach and prepare patients/families and caregivers for continued care after discharge.  The physical therapist may be involved in consultative services within the organization and in the community.   The physical therapist demonstrates dedication to professional growth and development and to the continuous improvement of patient care.

Education:

Bachelor's of Science or higher degree from an Accredited Physical Therapy program.  Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Vermont.

Experience:

Experience in Aquatics or Outpatient Orthopedics is preferred.
