Field Service Tech Staff

University of Vermont Medical Center - Burlington, VT

Position Summary:

Requires paid on-call support.  Some travel to office locations may be required.  Occasional weekend work required.  A personal vehicle is required in order to perform the requirements of this position.

The Client Computing Technician is responsible for providing onsite technical support to assigned end users and departments.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluating, planning, installing and troubleshooting all computer hardware and related peripheral equipment, planning and completing Moves/Adds/Changes including requests for cabling and facilities requirements, management of software and hardware asset inventory, management and resolution of assigned support tickets, and participation in various IT related projects.

Education:

Associate's degree or formal technical training or equivalent experience. Must possess a valid Vermont driver’s license and safe driving record.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience.
