Position Summary:
The Director of Total Rewards is responsible for leading the organization’s benefits, compensation, HRIS, employee health and injury prevention and wellness programs. The Director strategically directs, develops and implements comprehensive total reward programs that align with the organization's strategic objectives while supporting our culture of ONE, maintaining competitive positioning in the market, and ensuring legal and contractual compliance. Through collaboration with leadership throughout the organization, this position also ensures that our reward systems, injury prevention programs and employee wellbeing initiatives help drive performance, talent acquisition, engagement and retention across all levels of the organization The incumbent will work closely with members of the Human Resources leadership team to create a customer focus that is responsive to the needs of our leaders, staff and physicians and ensure effective and efficient operations and HR systems.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business area. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or other relevant professional certification is strongly preferred and required within first 18 months of position.
Experience:
Seven or more years of Employee Benefits and Compensation experience. Progressive management experience in a complex healthcare environment leading a team of Human Resources professionals. Five or more years of increasing responsibilities in the management of total reward programs HR systems. Track record demonstrating the ability to improve HR systems and enhance operational efficiency.
