Position Summary:
This position is responsible for retrieving and processing incoming instrumentation and equipment and performs cleaning and sterilization duties for operating room instrumentation, satellite locations and procedure rooms. Restocks nursing sets and specialty carts and assembles case carts. Responds to operating room requests when covering for case cart coordinator. May be required to obtain supplies from the warehouse or from CSR on either campus.
Education:
High school graduate. 1 Year College preferred. Certification as CRCST within eighteen (18) months in this role.
Experience:
Must have at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting. The successful applicant must have a strong understanding of the English language in person and over the phone. Strong communication skills are needed and used in an often urgent environment. Excellent customer service skills and outstanding attention to detail are required. Experience in inventory, pick pack or processing strongly preferred
