Position Summary:
The Anesthesia Tech (AT) shall function within the policies and procedures of the organization, Anesthesia & Perioperative Services. This position encompasses both direct patient care as well as equipment maintenance, stocking of anesthesia carts, ordering supplies and running basic laboratory tests. The anesthesia tech shall work closely with anesthesia providers, pharmacy, operating room staff, labor and delivery, TSP, and pain clinic personnel. He/she helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment. The AT works under the direction of the Department of Perioperative Services with clinical oversight from the Department of Anesthesia.
Education:
High School or GED This position requires verification of your High School Diploma. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview.
Experience:
Previous patient care environment preferred. Previous exposure to anesthetic equipment and/or procedures preferred.
