Systems Analyst

Utilant - Buffalo, NY

Looking for an IT Analyst for a growing software design company.

Successful candidates will be fast learners, detail oriented and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, candidates be experienced in:

• Facilitating software development projects
• Working with customers to define project specifications and requirements
• Formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact finding
• Multiple project liaison between IT, internal/external development resources and the customer
• Analyzing business and user needs, documenting requirements and translating into system requirement specifications
• Translating meetings, conversations, etc., into requirements and documents
• Clarifying/explaining business requirements to technical team
• Perform data mapping activities and distributes to the technical team
• Comfortable managing changing priorities as well as being solution and results driven
• Previous application development experience desired
• An understanding of relational database concepts and experience in enterprise application environments is a plus.
• Previous experience in a software / IT environment beneficial

Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in IT field or related major and 5+ years' experience. Time management and organizational aptitude necessary.
